About EarlyFounders labs

Inspiring Creativity and Innovation for Africa and the World

EarlyFounders Labs is a tech and startup school for children.

Our curriculum called “Pathway to Innovation” teaches  innovation, coding and entrepreneurship, specially developed for children.

We work directly with children anywhere in the world, and we partner with schools to enable them nurture creativity in their classrooms.

We are empowering every child to achieve their true potential and global competitiveness by learning the skills to give expressions to their innovative ideas, irrespective of where they are in the world.

Our Why

Eradicating Poverty Through Tech & Entrepreneurship

Africa is both the poorest and youngest continent in the world with half of our population below the age of 19.

By helping every child an develop their creativity, learn tech skills, and master the art of problem-solving, we can turn the multiple problems in our continent into solutions and businesses.

We want every African child to have the opportunity to achieve economic freedom either through entrepreneurship, or by acquiring real-world employable skills that enable them compete with confidence globally, and we believe they can achieve this before they they turn 18 if they start early.

OUR Curriculum

Pathway to Innovation

Pathway to Innovation is our signature curriculum and learning pathway that equips children from the age of five with problem-solving, computer programming and entrepreneurship skills.

It is a combination of lessons, courses and programs which can be implemented as part of the regular school curriculum, run as an after-school program or delivered independently through private tutoring or home-schooling.

The curriculum is broken into four levels and can be completed by students over a period of 2 to 5 years, without requiring students to drop out of school, depending on the implementation model. It can be integrated into Primary and Secondary education curriculum through age appropriate subjects and courses.

The Educator Library

Schools, clubs, organizations or foundations interested in educating children and teenagers with skills in computer programming and entrepreneurship do not need to reinvent the wheel.

We provide a comprehensive educator library containing all the resources and support that will be needed to deliver the Pathway to Innovation curriculum effectively, even when you do not currently have highly trained teachers.

The Educator Library comes with the following:
  • Curriculum map (how the entire curriculum connects)
  • Suggested lesson sequence for students of different ages
  • Lesson plans for each lesson with learning outcomes
  • Lesson videos for each topic (which teachers can play in class)
  • Lesson slides for each topic (for teachers to use in class)
  • Question bank with questions and answers for each topic to make assessments easy
  • Supporting resources for each topic (extra videos and links for added learning)
  • Ideas for projects and activities to drive home all hands-on lessons
  • Access to teacher training and certification courses for teachers and team members
  • Special discounted rate on the purchase of “Early Coding for Kids” textbooks (the student textbooks that accompany different levels of the curriculum)
